Sharing my Doodlebug Design Team entry

Hello!

Hope everyone is having a great post Christmas week....we still have 1 more week until the kids go back to school, so we're in major chill mode here.  But I did want to share my entry in the Doodlebug Design team call that was in November.  I LOVE Doodlebug products, always have (and always will!), and I reeeaaallllyyy wanted to make this design team.  I felt I did some of my best work on my entry, but, alas, I didn't make the team.  :(  I actually was sad for about a day.....but I guess I gotta get over it and move on, huh?

Anyway....here's my entry.  It was 2 layouts, 2 cards, and a mini album, all using Doodlebug products.

Here is a video of my entry and below that are photos of my entry.

First is the 2 layouts:

Next is the 2 cards....I did a birthday and a Christmas, using all Doodlebug products:

And finally I did a mini album of a trip to the zoo....love, love, love how colorful it is:

  1. So sorry you didn't make the team. Who knows what they were looking for; don't let it take away from your wonderful projects, they are great :) Sometimes I think there are some kind of "politics" involved in getting chosen for a design team, I personally have never tried out for one though so I'm not sure, just what I've heard. Anyway, great job on your layouts and cards :)

  2. Wow - these projects are awesome! I adore that mini album! I'm sorry you didn't make the team, but don't let that keep you from trying out again. Your work is stunning. I'm a fan!

  3. Wow, these are fantastic, I love them. There are many reasons why people don't make design team calls. sometimes there are already people on the team with the same style, or they are looking for people with more followers on their blog, the list is endless. Do not feel bad, these are designer quality projects. Keep applying to the design team calls and visit others peoples blogs in hopes they will visit you, like what they see and become a follower as well, but do not feel discouraged. These are wonderful.

  5. I love your projects- you are multi-talented- card maker and a scrapper too! I have been 'not chosen' for DT's many times- and, it always works out- something better comes along or the timing is better! Your scrapbook pages are wonderful, and I love the Zoo book you made as well. And, Happy New Year!
