Hello!
Hope everyone is staying warm.....it sure is cold here and throughout most of the country really! All the more reason to stay in and create! I made this card today and am just in love with this cute little penguin....he is from Unity Stamp Co., isn't he just darling?
I stamped him in black pigment ink, then clear embossed and colored him with Copics. Then I covered the penguin and candy cane with glossy accents and let it dry thoroughly. Then I was able to ink the cardstock and keeping the penguin uninked. Love this masking technique.
I finished up the card with some pattern paper from a Christmas paper
pad, then stamping the sentiment (which came with the Penguin stamp) and
clear embossed. The star is an unused piece from another project. it was laying on my table so I thought what the heck. LOL
I would also like to thank all my visitors and those who leave kind comments. I do read each one, and I am going to try and do better to respond to each one. I love that I am reaching others with my blog and sharing my love of scrapbooking and cardmaking. :)
Stay warm! :)
What a sweet card! I really like how the penguin looks with glossy accents on it. And that candy cane paper is adorable!
