Hello!
Today's
cards are for the Simon Says Stamp Monday and Wednesday challenges. I
really like doing these challenges because it gets me to play with my
stuff! :) I hadn't played in a few days so it felt good to create!
This card is for the
where
we are to use red and pink as the main focus of the card. Done! Since Valentine's Day is Saturday, this was easy. :) I used a new background stamp from Unity and the hearts were scraps left over from another project. I also used my distress inks. Love this card!
This next card is for the
where
we are to showcase Paper Smooches stamps! I only have 2 sets, so I thought I'd use this cute fish stamp and the adorable sentiment, birthday fishes! :)
I spent a good deal of time watercoloring the background....and the 'bubbles' are glossy accents. :)

What I like about your first card is how it incorporates those traditional Valentine's Day colors, yet you've given it a fresh look by pairing it with that fabulous pennant and by doing that gorgeous ombre effect on the background.
